Sunrise Yoga

What:
A chance to watch the sun come up as you stretch yer bodeh. The session is designed to wake you up and prepare your bonce for the day ahead. They meet outside of the Pavillion on the park every Wednesday, just mek sure to bring a yoga mat, blanket and some watter with yer.
How come?:
The gentle sun salutation yoga is suitable for everyone, and is a great way to introduce yoursen to the wider world of yoga.

Cricket: England vs India

Trent Bridge Cricket Ground
What:
The creme de la creme of cricket is on its way to our city for a trio of international fixtures. This week they’ll be taking on Virat Kohli’s India before the world's number one Test side return later this month.
How come?:
It’s not that often we get to see international sport rahnd these parts. Tek the chance while you can.

Patchings Festival of Art, Craft & Photography 2018

When: Thursday 12 - Sunday 15 July
Where:
Patchings Art Centre
What:
This is your chance to meet over 250 local artists, photographer, craft makers and designers selling their work and demonstrating their crafts. The festival boasts a load of workshops to get involved with, such painting and working with textiles, ceramics precious metals and more.
How come?:
They’ve roped in the help of some celebrity artists who’ll be hanging out in the Festival Marquee showing you exactly how they do their thing. They’ll also be plenty of retail and trade stands from the art and photographic sector, so you’ll be able to tek something home for yer living room wall.

Yer gorra love an outdoor cinema. Sit back, relax in your camping chair and enjoy Heartbreak production’s performance of the Shakespeare classic. Bring a picnic along too - might as well make a proper night out of it.

With this lovely weather set to continue for the foreseeable future, it’d be a shame to waste it all gerring hot and bovvered inside. Step away from the telleh and feel that setting sun on yer face.
