Following the success of its Set For Love event last month which raised £60,000, Last Night A DJ Saved My Life (LNADJ) is back and looking for Nottingham DJs to help support its COVID-19 Relief Appeal. The charity provides relief to vulnerable families in developing countries who are feeling the effects of this pandemic.

After its first charity stream saw 1000 DJs from more than 50 countries take part, the charity is hosting another fundraising livestream DJ event this weekend, with headliners Carl Cox, Eats Everything, Nightmares on Wax and various others supporting the cause. Each session will end with a community-picked DJ recognised for their fundraising efforts, allowing them to play alongside renowned names in the industry.

On the 19th, 20th and 21st June the headline sets will be held on LNADJ’s Facebook page from 7pm to 1am every day,  and also on DanceTelevision and the artist’s own online pages.

LNADJ founder Johnny Lee says its aims are to provide support for those struggling with little or no source of income: “To see some of the most high profile DJs in the world come together with thousands of community DJs is a real inspiration. Although lockdown restrictions may be being lifted in places, the economic crisis for many is getting worse, not better.”

Headliner DJ Carl Cox added: “I am really looking forward to playing alongside my peers and to create a very special musical journey for Set For Love, it feels good to do this for the cause of helping others, with our passion to share. See you all out there. Oh yes!”

To register, DJs from Nottingham can visit www.setforlove.org, and choose their hours and broadcast platform. DJs must then include the setforlovedoante.org link in their streams to allow for donations. Or you can watch, enjoy and donate towards any of the live streams planned over the weekend.
