Want entertaining?

It's really simple. All you have to do is head over to the LeftLion Facebook page at 8pm each evening. We've lined up a steady stream of the best singer-songwriters, comedians, poets, artists and performers who have appeared in our pages to entertain you and keep your spirits up. 

You can interact with the artists and send them some nice comments while they're playing (please bring positivity) and they might answer back. This entertainment is completely free and everyone involved is working and performing for free to help keep your spirits up. However, if you enjoy what you're watching we'd encourage you to either:

• Donate some money to the Light Hustle charity, which is raising money for local artists who's income is affected by Covid-19 venue closure
• Buy some music or merchandise from the artists who are doing the sessions.

If you miss the live broadcasts, you will be able to catch-up on the performances on our Facebook page afterwards (technology permitting), but you will not be able to interact.

Want to get involved and entertain?

Are you a performer? Do you fancy trying to entertain our Facebook audience (22k followers) for 30minutes or so - all from the comfort of your own home? The kind of things we are currently looking for are:

• Singer-songwriters
• Comedians
• Poets
• Artists who want to do fun talks / lectures / workshops / classes
• Other one-person stuff that can entertain people

Please note: We usually love bands and collaborative performances. But we are only currently asking for solo artists or possibly couples / trios of people who are already self-isolating together. We don’t want to encourage anyone to unnecessarily socialise right now when the Government is asking us all not to for really important health reasons.

To be considered to do this you need to have these basic things to use at home:

• A Facebook account
• A mobile phone or tablet device with a decent camera and decent sound
• The Facebook app installed on the above device
• Decent wifi at home (people with just masses of mobile data will be considered too, but please be aware this could rinse your data package)
