How To Get Hold of Issue #134

3 April 21

Once again we'll mainly be stocked in branches of Sainsbury’s, ASDA, Morrisons and Tesco. Plus local libraries and some lovely local delivery people.

We know some of you have been struggling to get hold of a copy of LeftLion recently from your requests on social media and in our email inbox. Sorry ducks, we’re doing out best but 90% of our previous distributors remain closed in lockdown.

However, once again we are distributing 10,000 copies of the magazine in TWENTY of the shire's busiest supermarkets, safely ensuring that you, the good folk of Nottingham can still get your LeftLion fix in lockdown.

Those supermarkets are:

ASDA

  • Loughborough Rd, West Bridgford, NG2 7JA
  • Midland Street, Long Eaton, NG10 1NY
  • Radford Road, Hyson Green, NG7 5FP
  • Strelley Road, Strelley, NG8 3AP

Sainsbury’s

  • Sir John Robinson Way, Arnold, NG5 6BN
  • Castle Bridge Road, Castle Marina, NG7 1GX
  • Main Street /Greens Lane, Kimberley, NG16 2LY

  • Victoria Parkway, Netherfield, NG4 2PA
  • Springfield Park, Leen Drive, Bulwell, NG6 8EP
  • Derby Road, Eastwood, NG16 3NT

Tesco Extra

  • Jubilee Way South, Mansfield, NG18 3RT
  • Ashgate Road, Hucknall, NG15 7UQ
  • Carlton Hill, Nottingham, NG4 1EB
  • Top Valley Drive, Nottingham, NG5 9DD
  • Station Road, Beeston, NG9 2WJ
  • Swiney Way, Toton, NG9 6QX
  • Waverley Street, Long Eaton, NG10 1HD

We'll also be distributing 2,000 copies of the magazine via:

  • Every city and county library as they re-open
  • All of our previous distributors who were open at the beginning of April
  • Home beer deliveries from Brew Cavern, Kraft Werks, Liquid Light, Magpie Brewery, Black Iris and Nottingham Brewery
  • Fruit and veg boxes from Thompson Brothers and Neighbourfood

And the simplest solution of all is just to sign up to get it delivered to your door on our Patreon

Fingers crossed things will start to get more back to normal from our June issue onwards.

We have a favour to ask…

LeftLion is Nottingham’s meeting point for information about what’s going on in our city, from the established organisations to the grassroots. We want to keep what we do free to all to access, but increasingly we are relying on revenue from our readers to continue. Can you spare a few quid each month to support us?
