A student at Nottingham Trent University has designed a stylish t-shirt to raise money for Emmanuel House Support Centre.

The colourful item of clothing was created by Fashion Design student Sian Slaney as part of a competition, and will be available to purchase as part of the charity's #TacklingHomelessness campaign.

Sporting vibrant visuals and the eye-catching branding of Emmanuel House in a trendy way, Sian's design was chosen by a judging panel for its "simplicity, innovative use of brand colours and striking lines to represent an athletics track".

Funds raised from the sale of these t-shirts will go towards the charity's Winter Appeal, supporting their vital work towards eradicating homelessness in Nottingham.

This income will help to finance the work of the Support Centre's Access Team in Hockley, which works with around 100 individuals each month, offering crucial services such as hot food, clothing, showers, a nurse, and a care of address and support, as well as meaningful activities such as cooking classes and guitar lessons.

Denis Tully, CEO of Emmanuel House, said: “By asking students to design a t-shirt to represent our charity and our theme of #TacklingHomelessness we’re not only celebrating the outstanding talent we have in the city, we’re raising funds for services that will directly benefit from the profits - the sale of the t-shirt will help fund our Access Team, which offers, amongst other things, clean clothes to people who are homeless.”

Available from online pre-sale platform Print Social for £20, 100% of profits will go directly to Emmanuel House. Supporters can cover the cost of the t-shirt production, which is £10, by adding an optional donation at the checkout.
