Fancy sending your Valentine a bit of love while also sending a bit of love to Notts independents. For this year’s V Day Studio Chocolate have launched their ‘DIY Date Night’ bundles, which include a wide variety of foodie gifts and experiences from them and other local businesses.
Their aim is to provide people with high-quality meal and gift bundles, so people can indulge their partners whether they’re together or apart on the day. You can have all your date night needs delivered in one go, and grab it all from one place – Studio Chocolate – while discovering lots of local other businesses too.
The businesses involved are candlemakers The Bunbury Shop, Southwell florists Gigil and Bloom, all-star pizza makers Oscar and Rosie’s, vegan fine dining specialists No. Twelve, crafty beer guys Jamcafe, and artisan cocktail makers Cottonmouth.
Gift bundles include flowers, heart-shaped chocolates, wines and beers, with a variety of options to suit your partner. If a romantic meal is more your thing, there’s a pizza bundle or even a four-course tasting menu bundle. There’s all this, as well as numerous little extras that you can add onto a bundle or order by themselves, such as giant chocolate hearts, beers and cocktails, and chocolate tarts.
Studio Chocolate founder and head chocolatier Ellie Wharrard says: “It feels important for us independents to help each other out – even though we're all small businesses we can still introduce our customers to each other, while creating new ways to help people shop locally from the safety of their homes.”
