No Jobs in the Arts have launched a new series of audio interviews with six people of colour exploring their experiences of inclusivity and self-empowerment in the arts. The interviewees all have practises linked to the East Midlands, and include Khari Worrell, Jade Foster and Arit Emmanuela Etukudo.

Asking creatives what could be done to further the process of decolonisation in the arts, the interviews aim to highlight the ongoing need for diversity and inclusion in the industry, as well as generate conversations and empower the voices of people of colour working in the creative industries.

All interviews are also available as transcribed, screen-friendly reader versions.

LeftLion is Nottingham’s meeting point for information about what’s going on in our city, from the established organisations to the grassroots. We want to keep what we do free to all to access, but increasingly we are relying on revenue from our readers to continue. Can you spare a few quid each month to support us?
