Hailing from Manchester, The Chameleons are a post-punk band formed in 1981. With albums including Strange Times, What Does Anything Mean? Basically, and Script of The Bridge, the band has a rich place in music history. If that piques your interest, you can spot them at Rescue Rooms this Tuesday.

Based on C.S.Lewis’ iconic children’s book, The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe is heading to the stage in Nottingham. Following four English children as they discover a world of talking animals, mythical creatures, and the evil White Witch, it's a timeless story of good winning out over evil. Join Lucy, Edmund, Susan and Peter as they explore the magical land of Narnia. Productions start this Tuesday.

Self described as an African-futuristic project, Onipa are a London based band merging electronic music with a Ghanaian sound. Since their debut at the Great Escape festival, they’ve gone on to play the stages of Glastonbury, Shambala and Fellabration. Now the band are heading to Nottingham this Thursday in celebration of their 2021 album Tales of Utopia.

Light Night is back! This year based around the theme of Rebel City, Nottingham will be lit up with interactive and experimental light exhibitions. Head over to Nottingham Castle to see it illuminated with a ‘Fire Garden’, then mosey on down to the Old Market Square to explore the Nonsuch Studios installation.

Once a year, the small market town of Kendal becomes home to one of the biggest Mountain film festivals in the world. Attracting films from across the globe, the Kendal Mountain Festival screens some of the best adventure films from the previous year, sharing awe inspiring stories from the outdoor world. Whilst it’s (a little) too far to make it into LeftLion, you can still catch the best of the festival at Broadway, who will be screening their top picks from the day.
