Spine-tingling horrors. Multiverse-spanning madness. Shaun the Sheep. Broadway are covering all the bases this summer - with three special seasons spanning pretty much any genre you can think of.

If you fancy a fright and can’t quite wait until Halloween, then local horror peddlers the Nottingham Horror Collective have got you covered with their Satanic Season, running throughout August. For this season, they have selected four of their favourite horrors – The Witch, The Exorcist, The Evil Dead, and Rosemary’s Baby – which will be shown at various times throughout the month. Whether you’re a fan of modern, 21st-century horror, or if you want to dive into a classic from the sixties, seventies or eighties, there's something for you.

If you’re looking for something a bit more family-friendly and appropriate for all age ranges, though, the showings of favourites from the beloved Bristol animation studio Aardman may be more up your street. This season is also running throughout August, and with all tickets priced at an affordable £3.90, it will be a cheap trip out for the entire family. Take your pick from Chicken Run, Pirates! In An Adventure With Scientists, The Shaun The Sheep Movie and A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon

Or if neither of these options quite tickle your fancy, you may want to check out Broadway’s Summer Sale. This is the perfect opportunity to watch a recent hit film that you missed when it was first released, or revisit one of your favourites from the past year for a discounted price. Everything Everywhere All At Once, Petite Maman, The Worst Person in the World, Licorice Pizza, Belle and Dune will all be shown, with full details of dates and times on Broadway’s website. All tickets are priced at £4
