Dot To Dot festival returned to its familiar May weekend for an amazing day of live music spanning across multiple notable Nottingham city centre venues, bringing the city to life once again. For many Notts music lovers, this is one of the best days of the year.

There were some absolutely fantastic sets from some of the best up and coming national artists. Bob Vylan presented Rock City with an incredible show featuring honest, noteworthy lyrics combined with the fierce sounds of punk.

We were also able to catch sets from the likes of post-punk 5-piece Squid to Alfie Templeman to KEG to Ghetts, and this years lineup definitely presented huge stylistic variation, demonstrating a range of artists on the rise.

Along with the incredible national talent we were met with a range of phenomenal local Nottingham artists from all ends of the spectrum. Favourite moments featured an incredibly live set from Kynch, alongside Black Cats and Magpies celebrating Nottingham Forest's win during their set, a moment to remember.

Bee-sides brought soulful bops across to The Loft within Nottingham Trent Student Union too, and Red Room featured stunning sets from Sunflower Thieves and Catmilk.

Piri & Tommy brought their own unique style to drum 'n' bass, with delicate vocals, powerful electric guitar and insanely good live drums. Rescue Rooms was in full party mode for their set.

Cassia entranced audiences with their super fun indie pop, bringing wavy, tropical summer vibes to the stage of Rock City. As crowds sang along to their tunes, the atmosphere continued to be electric throughout the day.
