Bunkers Hill has sat at the bottom of Hockley for longer than anyone can remember. Although the pub has always offered one of the widest ranges of beers in the city, it is only with the recent craft beer explosion that people have started to take notice of the unassuming bar.
Recently refurbished and boasting an impressive menu, a permanent selection of 10 draught craft beers, three fridges packed full of cracking beer from the UK, US and Europe plus a rotating choice of five cask ales. If there’s a brewer you’re into right now, chances are this pub, one of Hockley’s best kept secrets, is stocking it.
Bristol has one of the most rapidly developing beer scenes outside of London, which is why Bunkers Hill decided to let the finest craft breweries take over the pub for the whole of Nottingham Craft Beer Week 2017. As well as the keg taps, they’ll have Moor, Bristol Beer Factory, Arbour Ales, Good Chemistry and Left Handed Giant taking over the cask ale duties for the entire week.
