Undoubtedly one of the most unique venues in Nottingham, the Canalhouse is famous for having a canal that extends into the building complete with resident narrow boats and a beautiful south facing beer garden overlooking the canal.
For many years, the Canalhouse has been renowned for its craft and world beer, offering one of the largest selections in the Midlands. The pub currently offers over 250 beers from around the world, plus six real ales and up to ten craft beers in keg. There’s more choice that you can get through even if you drink in there every night for a month.
The Canalhouse regularly run tap takeovers and meet the brewer evenings as well as a host of other beery events. You can expect all of this during Nottingham Craft Beer Week.
Also look out for their very own charity music festival on Sat 8 July, The Waterfront Festival, curated by I’m Not From London and supported by Castle Rock, Gigantic and LeftLion. It’s an institution in the Nottingham calendar and has raised tens of thousands for local charities.
