Set in a former pharmacy, and styled on a Victorian apothecary, Doctor’s Orders is a cosy, one room micro-pub that boasts all things crafted.
A small bar at the back boasts five hand pulls containing at least one Magpie ale, alongside others from near and far. There’s no need to get up either as it’s all table service.
They have a great selection of real ales and craft bottles to drink in or take away, along with some fabulous wines. Plus, if you like what you’re drinking on hand pull you can take that home too, with their four pint beer carriers. The beers are complemented by a superb range of traditional bar snacks; pork pies, vork pies, scotch eggs, crisps, nuts, pork scratchings and Karkli.
Perhaps best of all there are no distractions from games machines, TVs or music.
