The word “hidden gem” gets thrown around a lot these days, but we think many will agree that the Kean’s Head fits that criteria. Tucked away next to St Mary’s Church in the Lace Market, the Kean’s is a single-room pub that’s been at the forefront of the Nottingham craft beer scene for many years.
They showcase over 100 bottles and cans, over 10 craft beers in keg, five real ales and two real ciders. If you fancy something a bit stronger they have 20+ rums, 60+ gins and 60+ whiskies. The food is fresh, flavourful and locally sourced from homemade courgetti with pesto and halloumi to classic pub meals and European-inspired dishes.
The Kean’s run regular brewery tap takeovers as well as a monthly “break even” keg, bringing you something rare and wonderful at cost price.
