Six Barrel Drafthouse isn’t even a year-old yet, but it feels like it’s always been there. The pub has managed to fit in with the community, thanks to the great staff, amazing range of craft and cask beers and general laid back vibe. You won’t find pretentiousness there, just good beer, great value and a chilled atmosphere.
Their name refers to the six cask ales on the front bar and six craft beers on the back bar. From Monday 19 to Friday 23 June, Six Barrel Drafthouse is being taken over by Thornbridge Brewery- all twelve taps, cask and keg, will be Thornbridge beers all week. Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 June will see the Hockley pub host cask ales by Welsh wonders Tiny Rebel and craft keg by London hipster Beavertown Brewery in a double-team-tap-takeover they’re neatly calling “Tiny Beaver”.
Six Barrel Drafthouse offers a permanent selection of twelve draught cask and craft beers plus a selection of more than 70 bottles and cans of beers from the UK, Europe and the US.
