Photographer David Baird has launched an exhibition at Sneinton Market following the progress of Paralympian legend Richard Whitehead. We got them both together for a chat about it...

Award winning East Midlands photographer David Baird has launched an exhibition celebrating the achievements of Paralympic champion Richard Whitehead. The exhibition brings together a collection of photographs taken by David over the years which allow you to take a look behind the scenes of what it takes to become a Paralympic legend.

Entry is free. The exhibition is based at Sneinton Market in Unit 14, NG1 1DU. It's open from 11am-4pm until Thursday 1 December. On Saturday 3 December there will be an opportunity to meet Richard and find out more about life as a paralympian and what he has planned for the future. The venue will be open from 10.30am - 5pm on the day with a special appearance from Richard at 3pm.
